This is the 90's.
This screen capture of our Tumblr settings was taken last week on April 21, 2015. If you look just above the middle of this image, to the right of "Dial-a-post," you will see the statement, "this is the 90's."

Kids Love Australian Beef
Apparently, kids love Australian beef. We don't know where McDonald's gets it's beef, but we're pretty sure kids love that beef, too.

Vietnamese Peter Pan
This is a Vietnamese language edition of the classic children's adventure Peter Pan. What made this find unusual is that this is at the public library (도립도서관) in Andong (안동시), North Gyeongsang Province (경상북도), South Korea (대한민국), and there is no noticeable Vietnamese community in this city. The second thing that got our attention is the cover. The image is a male figure who is smoking a cigar, carrying an open bottle of liquor, and walking through a rat-infested alley. We'll be honest: we haven't read a Peter Pan novel nor watched a Peter Pan play in a while, but we're not sure how this imagery fits into this memorable tale.

American Larry "The Cable Guy" Fan
Photographed near Fort George G. Meade, Anne Arundel County, State of Maryland, United States of America, the owner of this vehicle must be a serious Larry "The Cable Guy" fan to have his "git-r-done" catchphrase emblazoned so prominently on his vehicle, even though the spelling on the vehicle does not match the official spelling of the catchphrase.

Korean Fire Extinguishers
Photographed at a nursing home in Damyang County (담양군), South Jeolla Province (전라남도), South Korea (대한민국), these green containers are fire extinguishers. Unlike fire hoses and the familiar red fire extinguishers, both which require operators to potentially remain in harm's way while they aim the nozzles at their respective fires, this type of fire extinguisher is thrown into a fire and left there. Because it does not require any active operation, the thrower may immediately leave for safety.

Philippines house with a face?
Photographed in Loboc, Bohol, Republic of the Philippines, we think that the roof of this building was looking back at us. And even though this building does not have "ears," the "teeth" make this look like the face of some kind of rodent. And why anyone would want to design a roof to look like a rat we will never know.
